HCLTech has re-appointed Vijayakumar C as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

HCLTech has re-appointed Vijayakumar C as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for a new term starting September 1, 2025, through March 31, 2030, subject to shareholder approval and retirement by rotation. Vijayakumar has served as CEO since October 2016, leading the company through a period of sustained global expansion and digital transformation.

Joining HCL in 1994 as a senior engineer, Vijayakumar has held strategic leadership roles across technology, business, and operations. His deep understanding of the organization and industry has enabled HCLTech to scale new heights across digital, cloud, engineering, cybersecurity, and AI.

An alumnus of P.S.G. College of Technology with a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Vijayakumar is widely respected for his visionary leadership and people-first approach—qualities that continue to shape HCLTech’s position as a global technology leader.
