Kanwal Jeet Singh Bakshi Appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer at IndiGo

Kanwal Jeet Singh Bakshi has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd), effective July 20, succeeding Sukhjit S. Pasricha. His appointment marks an important leadership transition as the airline continues to strengthen its people strategy and support its next phase of growth.

In his new role, Kanwal Jeet will lead IndiGo's human resources function, overseeing talent management, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, workforce strategy, and people transformation initiatives. He will play a key role in strengthening the airline's people capabilities while supporting business growth and operational excellence.

Prior to joining IndiGo in this role, Kanwal Jeet served as Group Head – Human Resources at InterGlobe Enterprises, the parent company of InterGlobe Aviation. In this capacity, he led strategic HR initiatives across the Group, driving people strategy, organizational transformation, leadership capability, and talent development across diverse business operations.

With extensive experience in leading large-scale HR functions and organizational change, Kanwal Jeet brings deep expertise in building high-performing teams, enabling leadership development, and aligning people strategy with business priorities.
