Mr. Harsh Chitale steps in as the new Chief Executive Officer of Hero MotoCorp

Mr. Harsh Chitale steps in as the new Chief Executive Officer of Hero MotoCorp, effective immediately. With over three decades of leadership across B2B and B2C sectors, he brings extensive expertise in industrial automation, lighting, IT services, and digital transformation. The company also confirmed that Vikram Kasbekar, who had been serving as Acting CEO, will continue on the board as Executive Director & Chief Technology Officer.

With a proven record of leading multinational corporations across India, the US, and Europe, Mr. Chitale has consistently driven growth, profitability, and organizational renewal. Most recently, he served as Global CEO of Signify’s €4 billion Professional Business, leading 12,000 employees across 70 countries and spearheading digital, product development, and supply chain transformation initiatives.

Earlier, Mr. Chitale held pivotal leadership roles as Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Philips Lighting India, where he successfully spun off the business into a standalone public company while strengthening market leadership. He has also served in senior roles at HCL Infosystems Ltd. and Honeywell Industrial Automation India. With his appointment, Hero MotoCorp embarks on a new era of leadership, innovation, and transformation.
