Rashmi Nair has taken on a new role as Vice President & India HR Leader at OpenText, marking a significant milestone in her successful 20-year career dedicated to designing and executing transformative people strategies across global enterprises.

Known for her ability to scale organizations, modernize HR operations, and foster inclusive workplace cultures, Rashmi will lead OpenText’s India people agenda—driving culture, capability, and innovation in one of the company’s most dynamic markets. Her leadership reinforces OpenText’s commitment to building a future-ready workforce through progressive talent practices and data-driven insights.

Before joining OpenText, Rashmi served as Head of HR, India at Lumen Technologies, where she successfully scaled operations to over 3,000 employees and led initiatives in AI-enabled HR systems, governance excellence, and academic partnerships. Her career also includes leadership roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Tribune Digital Ventures LLC, Thomson Reuters, and Microsoft, where she delivered people-centric transformations rooted in agility, empathy, and data intelligence.
