Sandeep Modi Appointed as Chief Financial Officer at Jindal Steel Ltd.

Sandeep Modi has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Jindal Steel Ltd., strengthening the company's executive leadership team with his extensive experience in finance, strategy, treasury, taxation, investor relations, and corporate governance.

In his new role, Sandeep will lead Jindal Steel's finance function, overseeing financial strategy, capital management, governance, treasury, and business performance. His appointment reflects the company's continued focus on strengthening financial leadership to support long-term growth and strategic execution.

Prior to joining Jindal Steel Ltd., Sandeep served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President at Hindustan Zinc, where he led finance, legal, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), mergers & acquisitions (M&A), treasury, investor relations, IT, secretarial, and risk management functions while partnering closely with the executive leadership team to drive business growth.

Earlier, he served as Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Nominee Director at Serentica Renewables India 4 & 5 Private Limited. His leadership journey also includes serving as Chief Financial Officer at Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO) and Talwandi Sabo Power Limited, where he led finance, financial reporting, taxation, treasury, regulatory affairs, and corporate governance across large-scale metals, mining, and power businesses.

With deep expertise in financial leadership, strategic planning, and business transformation, Sandeep brings a proven track record of driving operational excellence and value creation.
